Financial Planning
Coordinating the moving parts of a complex financial life into a clear long-term plan. This is the foundation of every McNamara WealthMap.

Most financial arrangements build up over time rather than by design. A pension from a previous employer. An investment inherited or taken out years ago. Policies that were right at the time but have not been looked at since. Individually they may all be fine. Together, nobody has ever checked.
A second opinion brings everything into one place and answers the questions that matter: what do you actually own, what is it costing you, how has it performed, and does it still fit where your life is going?

A second opinion suits people who have arrangements in place but no ongoing advice around them. That includes pensions left behind with previous employers, funds that were inherited, and investments and policies taken out years ago. It also suits people whose financial lives have simply outgrown the advice they started with, and anyone who wants a fresh set of eyes across what they have before making their next decision.

The process is straightforward. You share what you have, and with your authority we gather the detail directly from the providers, so there is no paperwork chase on your side. We review everything: costs, performance, structure and tax. You then receive a clear written assessment in plain language, and we sit down together to walk through it.
The review is carried out for a fixed fee of €250, agreed before any work begins. The fee is what keeps the advice honest. Because the work is paid for upfront, we have nothing to gain from the outcome, and no reason to recommend changes unless they genuinely leave you better off. Sometimes the right answer is that everything you have is exactly where it should be.
And if you do decide to make changes through us afterwards, the €250 is offset in full against any future fees. In practice, the second opinion costs nothing for those who go on to become clients.

If what you have is in good shape, we will tell you so, and you will have the reassurance of knowing. If there are improvements worth making, you will see exactly what they are and why. What you do next is entirely up to you. There is no obligation to take any action or to work with us further.
It might be worth a second opinion.
Many people come to us with arrangements already in place. Funds they inherited, pensions from previous employment, or products taken out years ago. Others come because they've reached a point where they want advice that reflects where they are now, not just what they were sold before. We will review what you have with clarity and no obligation.
We advise across a focused range of areas to help our clients make clear, confident financial decisions over the long term.

Most business owners insure their premises and equipment without a second thought. Protecting the people the business depends on requires a different kind of advice.
Most conversations begin simply, with a desire to get a clearer picture of where things stand. If you would like to speak with us, we would be glad to hear from you. There is no obligation and no agenda beyond understanding your situation and whether we are the right fit for each other.
